Cyrus the Great founded the Persian Empire over 2500 years ago. It led the world in science, art, and technology for 200 years, until it fell to Alexander the Great. This ancient civilization has influenced cultures around the region. Students will learn about the traditions of Persia. They’ll play games like Gusheh-Gusheh and learn about Rostam, one of the greatest Persian heroes whose adventures sound similar to Hercules’.
