Greek & Latin Roots I

Jun 24 - Jul 11
12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Every student gets tired of memorizing spelling lists eventually.  Every week requires that they start over.

After mastering Greek and Latin roots, we find new words can be understood by taking them apart.  Anyone who’s ever wondered what “antidisestablishmentarianism” actually means can easily figure it out, given the right approach. Students in this class will also learn how to use a dictionary quickly and how to understand what they find.

And nothing’s more useful (maybe even fun) than finding cool synonyms for overused words that teachers dislike.
