Albert Einstein, Rosalind Franklin, Richard Feynman |
Jul 16 - Jul 19 morning / afternoon |
Albert Einstein, Rosalind Franklin, and Richard Feynman were 20th century scientists whose work changed how we see the world as well as the world itself. This class will explore the physics and biological discoveries of the three, as well as looking at how the culture reacted to them as people. There are questions, and we’ll learn the answers:
- Why did Einstein have to leave Germany?
- How did Franklin’s famous photograph 51 end up in the hands of Crick and Watson?
- What caused Feynman to be banned by security from talking to the secretaries at Los Alamos?
