Each one-week class will introduce the children to cultures from around the world, with different stories and hands-on activities, so you can sign up for more than one class.
Your child will become familiar with the classic folklore, mythology, and fairy tales from the week’s culture. Students will learn about science and technology associated with each culture through hands-on STEM activities, such as firing mangonel catapults and trebuchets, then finding the averages for the distances shot. These activities will include simple machines, engineering, etc., including learning about great inventors like Heron of Alexandria and Archimedes.
- morning (8:30am to 12:45pm)
- afternoon (1:15pm to 5:30pm)
